Background
My path into UX started with a psychology degree from UC San Diego — which turned out to be exactly the right foundation. Understanding how people think, what they expect, and where they get stuck is what design is really about.
I've spent the last five years doing that work across very different contexts: an enterprise SaaS platform used by major global brands, a nonprofit platform that needed to move fast and convert, and mobile IoT products where clarity isn't optional.
I'm most at home on teams where design, engineering, and data science actually talk to each other — where decisions get questioned and handoffs are real conversations, not file transfers.
